Piping Designer

Piping Designer - Mid to Senior Level
This position provides technical design services in facility piping system design to support oil & gas projects. Duties and responsibilities include:
Design and create CAD drawings of process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs) for oil and gas process piping systems and oil and gas pipelines.
Design and create CAD drawings of equipment general arrangements and process piping systems.
Design and create CAD drawings of piping associated equipment such as pumps, valves, vessels and other in-line equipment in accordance with industry and client standards.
Work with other technical design staff, engineers and managers and participate in day to day design activities of industrial and energy projects that include mechanical & piping engineering.
Participate in proposal and scope of work preparation and related project documentation preparation.
Associates' Degree is preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, ASME. Five years of related detailed experience including process and mechanical standard graphical symbols is preferred. The successful candidate will be experienced in the creation of drawings, drawing checking and in the preparation and documentation of construction documentation such as bills of material. In addition, the candidate will have knowledge of process piping design and understanding of oil and gas pipeline system design. Experience should include the design and development of drawings for piping and oil and gas facilities and the design and creation of drawings for piping associated equipment such as pumps, valves, heat exchangers and other in-line equipment in accordance with industry and client standards.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
