Summary:
This position will help to supervise and provide work direction for hourly employees and ensure adherence to safety, environmental, quality and productivity performance standards in a melting environmental which includes a large arc furnace.
Background Profile:
Our client would like a Bachelor degree in Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering Prefer that you have five plus (5+) years of maintenance experience in a melt shop environment Our client requests that you have direct experience with steelmaking and melting steel (carbon, stainless and electrical steels) A willingess to work rotating shifts Hopefully, you possess strong leadership skills with the ability to provide direction to others Exceptional analytical skills for problem solving and excellent communication skills will go a long way here.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
