00 / hour Join Our Team! Surgical Product Solutions is a growing company in the Surgical Device Industry looking for a Surgical Equipment Specialist to join our Equipment Team.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, consistently meets or exceeds deadlines, and possesses excellent time-management skills.
Purpose:
To perform those duties necessary for the proper Quality Control, Cleaning, Inspection, Receipt/Data Entry, Storage, and Distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Responsibilities:
Practices solid verbal and written communication skills and is able to articulate and translate.
Develops and maintains productive working relationships internally and externally by building teams and relationships through mentoring and modeling uplifting and positive communication.
Demonstrates accountability to self and others for safe work hours, time management and healthy lifestyles.
Seeks opportunities to share expertise with other members of the healthcare team within and beyond the clinical unit/department.
Makes recommendations for the improvement of the workplace and welcomes and participates in change initiatives.
Shows the ability to set priorities.
Communicates appropriately using good interpersonal skills.
Participates in performance improvement activities.
Participates as a team member and is accountable for own work responsibilities.
Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
Basic Functionality Testing of Electronic Surgical Equipment and other devices.
Basic Cleaning, removal of stickers, residue, etc.
Scope Polishing.
Packing Orders.
Use of ERP System to Process and Ship Orders.
Maintaining a Clean and Organized Storage Environment Travel, up to 10% annually - Covered by SPS, Annual Trade-Shows and on-site pick-up Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Basic Microsoft Office skills, Computer Skills, Email Etiquette.
Preferred:
1 Year of healthcare experience in a Sterile Processing, Operating Room, or other Healthcare Environment.
